Just found this living on an empty shell.

As the title says, I found this little (bad) guy living on an empty shell. No idea where it came from but it's in a glass beaker outside the tank now. No corals in the tank yet.. shell came from LFS a couple months ago when I bought hermits.

Moral of the story: Check everything you get. This is a free empty shell I got from the LFS for my hermits to grow into.

Yup, it definitely Aiptasia... I posted as more of a warning for people to check everything before it goes in the tank.

I just got some from lfs for my hermits, just washed them and tossed them in tank, let's see lol

I left it and the shell it's living on in a glass beaker. I might put it in a little fish bowl and grow it just for kicks.

Yup... certainly didn't want the first 'nem in the tank to be Aiptasia though. I just fed him some mysis.
