60 here. And I didn't hear back. Guess they couldn't be bothered. The thing of it is, that SOMEONE had to have sent it to a mod b/c they mostly stay out of Reef Clubs. So SOMEONE was offended. For that I am truly sorry.

But hell, I thought the thread was so funny, and so many people chimmed in from around the country, I honestly tried to figure out how to nominate it for Thread of the Month! I looked up Melev and everything! :hammer:

that thread was material for thread of the month. i dont honestly see what was so offensive... unless some animal rights person was afraid of the naked animals...

i think a mature grown adult can deal with a few semi naked pics. (nothing pronographic was on that thread, so i dont know what the problem was).

unless it was the fact that certain language was used... but i think im the only one who posted something with foul language in it.

either way, its over and done with, and we are here now. :)

it was only a matter of time before the uprising of URS happened...
 
Guys I am glad that you all found your way over here and I understand that there were disagreement between you and another forum. You are welcome here and I will stay out of your club forums here for the most part. I will ask that you all do not talk about other forums negatively. In other words keep the problems you have had to yourself or in private. As far as posting links to other forums this is ok unless your pimping a site out! LOL! But it's not cool to bash anyone or any forum here.

Again as adults I respect you and I welcome you here with all sincerity. ;)

Thanks rev. I've been making a conscious effort to post on other pages with reef related topics. It's just this is the first chance alot of us have had to chat. We'll keep it reef from here on out.

rev Thank you for the sincere welcome. I think the thing that bothers everone here about the other site is that we ARE all adults and expect to be treated as such. What chaps my behind IS the amount of posts that many of us had where our knowledge and educational contributions have been tossed aside for what seemed to be one persons opinion. And worse, an opnion that was not open for discussion.

Please let this be my Mulligan :biggrin:

I'm sure most of us will remain regulars to this site. Looking over threads it's very nice to see you take the time to welcome new members with open arms. This could easily become a regular forum to visit for me. ;)
