R2R fam I need your help. I just saw my little guy with a red spot on his body and want to start treatment asap. Nitrates are slightly high (20ppm), just finished a 50% w/c, and don't see anyone else with symptoms. Thanks in advance everyone!

Any chance of aggression from anybody else in the tank? Possibly an injury.

That's what I was thinking. Sometimes, smaller clowns don't have a thick enough coat and a large anemone may sting them? I have 2 huge GBTAs and omce amd a while my Scopas will get one of those. It's harder to see being he's black but the sore looks the same.

I have 2 clowns, him being the biggest, and a little damsel in there. Could be from a scuffle, the little damsel is a jerk. thanks for the opinions crew!

Then I would have to assume injury. Damsels are evil. If you get the chance net him out and take him to your LFS. Just give it to them and be grateful to be rid of it. In the mean time, vitamins and good quality frozen foods should help him heal up. Watch for it getting bigger/worse and be ready to QT with an antibiotic like kanaplex or furan2 if needed.
