Just getting into reefing

What do you want to keep? Best to decide if there is a must have fish or coral that you can design the system around before getting something you will be disappointed in because you can't keep "x"

Please stay away from a biocube. It's just a package of worthless parts you'll end up replacing. I take that back, the glass works.

Not true... my biocube 29g has been incredible. Stock return pump, stock media filters, stock skimmer, stock lights.

IM Nuvo 20 or 25 lagoon AIO tanks. The only necessity you need to buy extra are lights, powerhead and skimmer.

The tank cost about 200-250, then skimmer around 150, for lights, best bang for the buck (IMO) is AI Prime HD, full spectrum with WiFi controllability, cost 220. Stand is optional since they're AIO (all in one tank), you can just put the tank on top of your counter or bookshelf :)

Read the thread that KJ linked couple times to make sure you understand before you commit in this hobby. You need dedication, commitment and most importantly, patience.

Here's a 25 lagoon I had.

I must say one of the best pieces of advice, everything posted above is all solid advice as to be expected from this wonderful community we have. But it's definitely worth a sit down and really go over what it is you're looking to keep in your tank before purchasing it. Unless you do have a rather loose budget and can upgrade later on fairly easily. Always best to figure out what your goals are and if your current budget doesn't quite meet up to those goals maybe wait a little bit until you can work all those goals into your first setup. Innovative marine definitely has some awesome setups in multiple different styles.
