Just Getting Started

I have been doing the freshwater tropical side for a while, and am looking to come to the marine side. While shopping around I have noticed the kits are a bit more expensive and wpuld like to get started with the best set up for a small space, one of the kits I like is the Coralife Biocube 29gallon but have been told that the lighting on the new LED unut isnt very strong at 10000k, so im just wondering if anyone has experience with this kit or whether I should save up a bit more for something else?

What most people usually end up doing is taking off the hood of the biocube and using a different light source such as the kessil a160, the ai prime hd, or the radion xr15.

If you're looking for an all in one aquarium and you're just going to change the lighting anyway, I'd look more towards the innovative marine nuvo tanks. You can get a 20 gallon all in one for 200 bucks. Or a 40 gallon nuvo 40 for 350$ which is about what you'll expect to pay for a biocube 29

I like the redsea AIO tanks but your budget might not be there. Like some have said already I would opt for Innovative marine tank over a biocube. But it all depends on what your looking for. 1 perk of the biocube, it has a lid so evaporation is kept to a minimum and you could get by with out a ATO while topping off manually every few days(depends on time of year.
