Just got 3 radion gen 3s! Need help on set up

Does anyone have a good lighting schedule for these lights? There are so many options that I'm a bit over whelmed. What is a good start up time, and with what lights (amount of k).

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

It's going over an existing tank. I'm currently running 3 black box led light fixtures. I currently run them around 60% or so. I'm thinking when I set up my new lights to start with the intensity only around 30%.

I have a mix of sps and lps. Everything is only 3-5 inches.

That sounds like a good plan. Be careful with the white channels, you can fry stuff fast. Use the acclimation tools to slowly ramp the radion up from 30%.

If you use the Ecotech live the newer schedules are available to use from their. I suggest finding a par meter to set the intensity of the lights. Radions are pretty powerful lights.

Yeah I never new how powerful white lights are for corals. Do the white lights really have any impact on corals? I think it's the blue lights that really do the trick.

I briefly looked at the presets last night. Are there actual schedules on the website? From sun rise to sunset?

I rented one from a guy named RhinoNM through a different forum. Looks like he has an account on here that he's checked recently, might want to pm him.

He has the newer version of the apogee par meter. It's updated to work better with LEDs. He charges $30/week. Awesome deal!

Seriously, start the fixture at like 25-30%. If you have the 90 degree lenses move up slower, if the wide angle, you don't have to be as careful. I highly suggest the wide angle lenses.
