Just got a gyre 250

Great pump strong and very quiet, I'm very happy with it. I just set it up on Sunday and set it it LTC , as I haven't had time to play with it much. I jist cant figure out how to set the timers on thr controllers.

Which controller do you have? Coralvue has good support/training videos available on their website.

I am in the same boat. Just got mine in and settled it on OGC mode to start to play with it. What I found weird is that when I put the max flow at 100% in the screen it only gets upto 60%.

I assume I missed something so going to start to check the forum and see what I get. Also will like to know what setting everybody is using.

I set it on the LTC setting max at 80 %, and it shows 80% . How do you like the OGC setting ? How many pumps are you running ? How big is your tank ? And how do you like it ?

How I said I just plugged it in and went with the preset OGC mode but if I ramp it up to 100 it on shows 60 on the display when it is ramping up.

My tank is a standard 125. At least at this moment their is no noise which is a big plus but I am not getting the flow to the other side.

Right no I am checking the videos.

I only have one pump and running the blades in Alternate Mode.

I run the blades in the same mode, try and see if that works, I have mine set at 80 % and it pushes water all the way across my 150.

But in what mode you at? I think that in OGC it doesn't reach more than 60%. I checked other mode and it ramped up to 100%.

Sorry I just read that you ate in LTC mode. Can you verify in OGC mode?

Thanks Buddy. have it working. Seems that the Controller wasn't retaining the settings as I unplugged it and now it is ramping up to 100%. Now to start to play with the different settings to see which one I decide.

Yepppp I will keep you updated. At the moment have to say that the OGC mode seems great. It is like a Reefcrest mode. I also lowered it to 40% just to avoid risks and see how the corals adapt to it.

I just bought 1 because I was thinking to only use 1 for the whole tank as I have a Sea Swirl that oscillates also but I will decide if I have to get another one as I like the reverse mode for the corals underneath the pump.
