Got a 36” QuantaPro meso blue but don’t really know how to use it properly. I already have two AI 32’s but wanted a bit more par at the top. The par at the top of my tank is between 170-185 and i have a few sps there. Im gonna add this light bar under my hood and angle it towards the sps (see link). I have a 2 hour ramp up and down. 11 hour run time.

But when do people turn these on? At peak or how would i program my AI32’s?

See link where i have some pictures of my tank.

You can start slow with 4hrs on during your peak period. Then you can add 15 minutes each week until you're happy (or your corals are happy). This is kinda slow, but that's okay. You should be able to run them 8 to 10hrs a day without issue, just take your time getting there.

Thanks for the reply. I just get real nervous with lights. Cause the help or damage can take so long to see a difference

That’s why you take your time with these things. It doesn’t have to be scary at all, just observe and don’t overreact.
