Ok. Tank upside down. Sand on the glass top. And a fountain of saltwater pouring down.

Can I use sand found in golf course sand traps? (I want beautiful fish and corals by 4th of July but on a tight budget)
Gravel on the side of the road usually does best, natural oils

Fill it with rain water then get two strong guys to bring it inside. Dont worry about it being level. A TV tray should support it well. API test kit most reliable and some fake plants and rocks from the garden will make it look natural.
Forget snails- Nightcrawlers are excellent cleaners.
Enjoy the tank

And Rolly Pollies do well....
****Kids don’t try this at home
