My tank has been Up going on 3 years. I know that one of my 1st mistakes was putting my main power source behind my tank as It was difficult to get to once my tank was up and running. Today I had a power outage and immediately ran for my portable generator, unplugged my main power source and found this. Luckily about a year ago I had an electrician add additional outlets to my closet behind my fish tank which I have been using for my Apex calcium reactor etc,,, Needless to say I will no longer be using the plug behind my tank And additionally in preparation for hurricane season I can access all of my electrical easily if I ever need to. Goes To shove that regardless of how successful your tank seems to be something can always go wrong
