Hi I just got my biocube 32 and am wondering where to start? I have watched hours of videos on YouTube but still nervous about starting up the tank... Any advise would be great.

First step decide what you want to do with the tank. If you have an idea of that it’ll help you lock in what equipment is worth getting and what isn’t. Then just be patient and take it slow. It way way easier to just go slowly than it is to battle against a mistake you make because you weren’t.

There are tons of BioCube 32 build threads on here so you can get a solid idea of what others have done and use their lessons learned. I find them amazingly helpful. I’m still a novice but feel free to check mine out.

My biggest regret from building mine out was not thinking about the scape enough before I jumped in and not securing my scape together.

Thank you I guess I have more research to do. I have an idea of what I want, but I think I need to get a stand for the tank first before I set it up what do you think?

Take it SLOW and be patient. If you got the amazon bundle, use the bacteria in a bottle. You'll need to buy rock. Might as well buy dead white rock. The Biocube 32 is a great product. Just be patient. Load up with whatever rock you choose.

My advice is to let tank mature (I used a cocktail shrimp in a pantyhose to start the cycle). After you think the tank is cycled, wait two more weeks. You'll get the brown funk, guaranteed.

After that, add a clown or two, then some zoas if you like. Your tank is still far from maturing. Watch your salinity from topoffs, and do water changes as often as your laziness allows.
