Just got my first gold torch!

Ever since I started in this hobby I have always wanted a gold torch. I happened to come across an indo dragon soul through a buddy and got a great deal on a teeny tiny head lol. Its growing awesome. But I still yearned for that gold torch!

I went to a frag swap yesterday and boom there it was. It was calling me. However it was also coming with a $350 price tag. Now it was also a splitting single head so I was mulling it over. Over the course of the show I would pop in and ask the guy if he had any bites. He said alot of attention no bites though. Right as he was packing up I offered him $200. He laughed and said no thanks. I said come on let's make a deal. He came down to $300. I hit back with $250 cash in hand! We settled at $275. It was pretty closed up in his dt at the swap so on the way home I was having buyers remorse. However when I got home and it settled in my tank, I COULDNT BE HAPPIER! I finally got my dream coral!

Looks like Aussie. That's not a bad price for one. It'll be a year though before it splits so you need to prepare for the long haul with them.

Beautiful Aussie gold!
Here was my Dragon Soul before i split it in half and parted with the two pieces. Fortunately, part of my deal was a head would return when it fully split and grew out a bit. So should be coming back around!! Also my Aussie gold I snagged up shortly after parting with the indo.
