Just got new salt need some help.

Just got fluval salt and it is a little different then I'm used to. It says add 43g/L per US gallon. What is the best way to measure this.

I am not too sure but if you are introducing new salt you should do it gradually. Like 25% new 75% old

43 grams to do it would have to be weighed by a scale. If you need a break down there's 28 grams in a ounce 16 ounces in a 1 lbs 448 Grams in a pound. I just put some in a guess and keep checking. But measuring the first time isnt a bad idea. What salinty does 43 grams come.out to hopefully 1.025 or 1.026
