I got this frag of hair algae and it had some hitch hiker zoa's. Any idea what they are? I think one is lunar eclipse but what is the other?

thanks for the lead....I will start checking those out.

That also looks to be bryprosis?(I think that's the name or brypropsis) and not hair algae. That stuff is super bad and I've seen it destroy beautiful tanks. I would take it out imo and if you really wanted to keep the zoas-than make sure you get it all and regularly check back up on it.

My tang and angel have been sort of picking at it. I was going to pull the frag tomorrow and rip all that stuff off.

I have found my long spine urchin goes after the stuff. Its good the tang goes after it but they rip and tare and allow a lot of little pieces to float off and become new starts. Google it and you will find thread after thread about peeps having super hard times erradicating it from their systems.

I have no desire to go through that. Tonight it gets pulled.

i had those bryopsis before but not much, had it in a frag i acquired...for some reason it just disappeared....then one time some grew in the sandbed just a few strands,,,it so happen that i did a water test and my magnesium was low 1200...raised my mag slowly to 1400 in a matter of few days so forgot about the few strands of bryopsis then when i remember it,i decided to get it off before it grows more but couldnt find it...so now i guess my indicator of low mag is if i start seeing strands of bryopsis

funny you say that.....last night I went in and mounted all of my new frags....went to pull that piece to deal with the issue and it was completely clean....I am now scouring my tank trying to find it.

checked all suggested names and none really match. Here is a better pic. If no ID is known I think I shall call them Sinestro's.
