Now maybe I can get a positive id on some zoas I picked up.
(Literally, I was picking up polyps that had fallen off of frags in a lfs's frag tank. Initially, it was just 2-3 closed polyps. It seems to be a good grower.)

They're a teal color (bluish green), with the appearance of a double skirt. The skirt has a 'dusting' of the same teal color. Also, it does contain the 'propellor' in the center.

Thanks guys/gals. This forum has already answered a bunch of my questions through searching. I wish I'd had known about this a year ago.

The focus of my attention lately has been zoas. I've got a 5 gallon almost entirely devoted to them....and due to me running out of space, I'm looking to upgrade to a custom 27 gallon zoa tank very soon. It will be approximately 42"x15"x10" (LxWxH).

Here's the 5 gallon in late July. It's mostly run-of-the-mill stuff. But just recently I met Revhtree, so the exotics are coming in slowly.

Yeah, Rev's an enabler... He's seeking help for that. NIce stuff, Mark. I loved what you did with the GC 5 gallon. I plumbed mine into my display for a while (not much else you can do and still filter it, unless you do what you did). I'm glad the palytoxin has hit the vein:D.

If and when you get enough to frag let me know......They would look nice in my tank as well...

They're growing pretty well at the moment....I'm hoping that I have enough to frag in a few months. I'll keep you posted.
