I like the forum and hope to make good use of it

Figure I am not too unusual in the community in that i was big into it in college and grad school in the under gravel filter days (late 70’s) and earlier in the year bought a covid distracting used 40 breeder for my office and all the innovations met with all my fond memories and was re-hooked.

So for a retirement present i have purchased a Cade 1800 (I know, baby steps) from Samantha at algae barn

Have soaking and priming rock in a 100 gal horse trough, nearly all the equipment i need and some I don’t and now waiting for delivery (each day until 3, or lord won’t you buy me a...) which i the last weeK of the month

Have even built a Life Size Replica the make my Aquascape and a second horse trough ( i have a farm) to set it in and continue the priming.

Wish me luck I guess and will be a much more avid reader than a writer

See above, and my drier pets
