Welcome to R2R. Good luck with building your setup. Lots of knowledgable and helpful people here who will support and advise you.Hello all, I am completely new to all of this and just started my aquarium about 2 weeks ago and so far everything is going good. Little over whelming at first with all the info and especially the lighting but Me and the family cannot wait to see how this turns out! Wife wants some shrimp and of course the 2 little ones want the clown fish and Me and the 3 older kids are looking forward to all the different things to place on the rocks! Attached is the latest pic of the aquarium waiting to get my second Mars Aqua light this Friday and one came in with broken LEDs and blues where not working. Built the top on my own pretty proud of that because I am bad at doing stuff like that. Still need to add more rock about another 20lbs its a 90 Gallon tank. This site has already been a great help!

Welcome to the family! Awesome tank. Love the aquascape. I'm sure you and the family will enjoy seeing the tank evolve.
By the way, your avatar makes me miss the fun/chaos of the flight deck. Retired Navy and miss it every day.
Same was in from 2000-2004 Was stationed in El Centro, Ca for most and last little bit was up at Whidbey Island, Wa VAQ-138 and with them spent 3 months on USS Carl Vinson. I am still amazed about all the Chaos that happens on the ships and things run smooth!

Did a tour forward deployed with VAQ-136 aboard USS Kitty Hawk out of Atsugi Japan 2000 to 2004. Loved the prowlers even though they were a maintenance nightmare.
