Just curious if I'm the only one to have this happen.... my skimmer (Bubble Magnus) had no aeration this morning when I fed the fish. Tearing it apart this evening, I found my Fire Goby had somehow committed fishacide.

The impressive part.... he jumped from a 65gal display tank, landed in the 3/8" gap in plywood around my drain line, must have bounced off my filter sock rack, across the plexiglass above the fuge and landed in the skimmer section of the sump. Where he abruptly tried to hide in the skimmer port... Does this happen to everyone?

When I had the snowflake eel . My return pump was working but you can see it wasn’t pumping as it used to .
I thought it needed to be cleaned .

I reached into the return pump chamber of my sump and the snowflake eel was curled up in a tight ball with his head stuck in the intake for the pump .
A few marks ( the yellow horns one was ground off ) but still alive .
He lived in my system for a few more months until I tried adding 3 juv yellow belly tangs .
every one he hit the head off and left the rest of the fish hiding in his cave ( maybe they don’t taste good ?)
