Just Moved to Madison

Hello all, I just moved to Madison from Philly. I found the site from another forum as this one was recommended as more people local are on here. Just a little background, I have had saltwater tanks for the last 10 or so years, but I broke down my last tank over a year ago due to a assignment in the UK. Now that we are back and getting settled into our new home I am ready to get a tank set up. I have been reading through the forum and it sounds like there is quite a bit of good stuff going on in the area and I would love to make it to a meeting or frag swap soon.
So all be told I am in the market for a tank. I am looking for something north of 60g in a cube/cubish style. Not looking to have it longer than 36", and ideally would be a 60 cube or a 93 cube. Anyone have a suggestion on a local shop or builder in the area, or have a used tank they are willing to part with?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Alabama!

There is a 58g RR tank for sell in the Northeast Huntsville area. Is is 36" long by 18" deep. I would love to buy it from him for his livestock and sell the tank separate but I don't have time to get to Huntsville for a few more weeks to get it from him. He has just about everything you need to start and keep it going. I believe the last post was just a few weeks ago and he dropped the price to $500 for everything. I saw that tank in searching. Unforchantly it isn't quite what I am looking for, plus I already have all the required equipment for the setup. That's a good deal for someone though. I am really looking for a cube as I like the idea of having three viewing sides rather than just through one main panel. If you do end up buying the setup from him let me know as I could change my mind if the price was right for just the tank and sump.

Welcome, I hope you find the tank you are looking for.The only tank I know of is a 110gal tall near me that is a 48" tank so that does not fit what you want. If we hear anything down this way will be glad to pass on the info.I have a customer who does tank mait. here I will ask him, he may have something.

We are just west of Count Line Road. One of the new neighborhoods out there.

Also I was down in Birmingham today and stopped by Reef Life Aquariums. Its a new shop there, but a nice setup. I might pick up a new tank from them unless I can find something else. If your in the area I would definitely recommend stopping by.

If you are willing to wait a few weeks and the price is ok with you, I found a used 60g cube for sale here in Auburn from one of our local coral frag dealers. I will be making a trip to Huntsville on February 28th and if you are interested in this tank I can bring it with me. He is asking $200 for the tank and the stand. If you are interested I can get you some pictures of it when I go over to his house this week to swap some livestock.
