Just Moved To The Area

So glad I came across this forum.
I moved here from out west almost a year ago. I am here for physician assistant school. Just this week I set the smallest tank I have had, a 2.5 gallon pico. That is all I can do in my situation right now. My brother flew out to see me and brought me some of my equipment. I didn't think I was going to set up a tank but I couldn't hang without one. I made it 9 months, itch was too great, and I gave in.
I am going to the frag swap tomorrow and hope to meet some reefers.

You will be impressed with the Reef Gallery Jaag! It is well worth the drive. Excellent livestock and dry goods selection. Superb owner & employees, who's main concern is the proper care of marine life!

where/when do you meet? what is the price?

It's $30 per year. We usually meet the 3rd Sat of the Month. Usually at Elmer's since they let us use their basement for free.

Well worth it I might add!!!

We are offered discounts at some stores through our membership, and benefits also include a member's only raffle at each meeting (sometimes nothing major but sometimes PRETTY NICE), a complimentary bag of home made fish food at the meeting that we make food, shared travel expenses if we go on club trips, not to mention that the membership fees go towards getting guest speakers for some meetings.
