I dont think this is aptasia or a nem because it looks more to have a filter feeder look to it. Its growing right next to my zoa polyp the polyp will open all the way but kinda like folds in when its touching it. Not fully more or less trying to keep a buffer and stay out i guess.. But i think it may be my featherduster. Because this looks red and i had a smaller one on the same rock and now his normal tube looks to be empty.. Do they move or can it be something else?

Some pics.

Where is it. Top of the rock near the head of the polyp on left?

If im seeing the right thing it is a bit blurry but could be a duster or maybe a barnacle
Your looking at the right spot. Im guessing duster because i had one on the same rock you can acctually see his tube in the oicture but it seems empty now. Do they move?

A barnacle will actively scoop the water generally. Feather dusters are passive.
Sorry the pic is a bit to small to make out well.

Sorry its the best my ohine can do. I could try and crop it but i doubt the resolution would be better. Ill watch it the next day or so and see if its harming the zoa at all. Right now it just seems like they are budging eachother for space.
