I hate my inland band saw. I used to have this nice collection of chalices that averaged over 2-3" in diameter.

Not any more. In the last week alone, I have destroyed (maybe a tad bit of over reaction) some pieces that I said I would never cut.

I really need to stop cutting chalices just to cut them as I am enamored with this cool device.

Sorry, I just had to rant

I think if I had one of those saws I'd cut everything in my tank.

Want to come to Chicago and use my saw on my chalice collection Mark? Seems like you have better luck than I do :(

Anything else I'm fine ... just not with the chalices!

I have noticed that the cutting is so much nicer. They are clean and the polyps are are in a couple of hours after cutting.

People kept telling me that I needed to get one. Then those same people told me I needed to be careful once I got it :D

I wish I could publicly admit how bad it has become. I am not at that point....yet

Or just send them to me :) Jeremy drops off stuff on Friday, I frag them over the weekend and he picks them up on his way out of town :xd:

This was the best $200 investment I have ever made it this hobby.

On a positive note, my ocd feels better as all of my corals are nice and clean; except the ones that used to be round

Inland Saw = Blessings to your friends :D

i have a diamond laser and know how you feel. BUT i must say it sure is nice to cut a frag and see it fully open within hours and fully healed within a week. best 400 bucks ihave ever spend for this business

It is a diamond blade wet band saw. just the brand. they are used to cut glass in crazy shapes but work wonders on coral. i thik the inland saw is the same type of things just a different brand. although not all inland saws are wet saws so it depends on which one you have

I know, I used to quick with the no's when someone wanted a gem, now its more like "Is that all you want me to cut" :)

I can say I was the one who got the no's lol
