Upgraded my tank a while back and have been struggling to get things balanced out. Hoping someone here can help advise on a way forward. Feel like the amount of information is paralyzing my way forward. Been dealing with cyano for the last 2-3 months. Now looks like there's bryopsis sprouting out all over the place as well. Believe my issue was overfeeding. Now the auto feeder feeds twice a day at the lowest amount setting (Neptune).

Some pictures from this evening for reference. When I initially saw the cyano, I started dosing Vibrant once a week (1ml per gallon). Things got worse. Dosed twice a week. Got worse. Stopped dosing entirely. Did two 30% water changes one week apart. All the corals in the tank just look like they're doing terrible. No idea what to do next and open to any suiggestions.

Nitrate is normally between 3 and 5 (nyos). Phosphate was at 0.06 this evening (Hanna checker ULR). I had been using Vibrant once a week.

I think you’re in a position where nopox is feeding undesirable critters as their population is currently stronger than your beneficial bacteria population. A really simply fix here is to start dosing a beneficial bacteria at night and after a month or so, try dosing a small amount of vibrant along with the bacteria dose when the lights are out. The goal is to get slight bacteria bloom which will rob the cyano of resources.

What kind of beneficial bacteria? Like Microbacter7 or Dr. Tim's Waste Away?
