Just noticed this in my tank

Ok so I was looking at my live rock today and noticed these little flower like things in the little holes and have absolutely no clue how long they have been there or how they got there

I think the OP is referring to the small red feather dusters which are fine.

feather duster! I am thinking about transferring some to my new system bc i think they are great filter feeders! they do love ending up in pipes and sump so no sure i want to deal with them.
