Just order some live rock

Hi all I just got my new tank going and ordered some live rock to get a good start I hope lol. I just got the tank filled and salt in it a few days ago can I just add it to the sump or should I put it in the dt? My scape I made it all Marco rock and will be adding sand today to the dt

Are you referring to the live rock? If so, yes you can add it to the sump if you so prefer.
