Hammer coral grow faster in a more alkaline environment and love higher magnesium. They will grow fast in a stable environment, and typically grow about 1 head every 2-6 months.

So when will it be a problem or will it be? I think I’ll just keep observing and if it gets worse, I’ll give you guys an update
Look very new, I see nothing that concerns me at this time.
Open and plump, that’s what I see.

I’m concerned more when they retract as they cannot perform their photosynthesis processes.

As far as hammer growth, the green hammers in the picture below as bought as 5 heads, 3 years ago, but I’m sure growth varies widely in different systems.

Maybe 40-45 heads, I’ve had to frag it a bit.

For the first year, not much, but 2nd year they seemed to just take off.

Keep us posted if things change.

How do you know if they can’t preform photosynthesis
Ooohhhh do you mean the ones under neath is

And the pictures of the frogspawn is it bad if they don’t have there sweeper tentacle out

I can’t really find anything wrong with those in your pictures.
I do see a hammer with babies sprouting, that would be a good thing.
Do they look unhappy to you?

I see a tiny recession on one blasto.
Impossible to conclude anything unless that trend continues.
