I bought a neat lil frag of zoas..mounted on plug.. on a cleaner clam shell...lfs said the zoas seem to pull shell halves open... well it turns out the lil clam is not a dead shell..its very much alive.. I know these lil guys like to bury in sb.. but kinda tough when its glued to plug with zoas growing on you..
Should I pull him off plug.. leave the zoas on him and let him bury his self..or just leave him alone.. cant get pic when its open.. it snaps shut faster than a mouse trap lol.

Just leave it. Itll be fine. I have several of that type and have found some under colonies as well.

Cool.. it seems fine.. so guess I have either a clam hitch hiker. ..or zoas hitch hiker..lol

For some reason I didn't buy the 3 at the lfs yesterday.

Oh and I found one in my Ponape birdsnest that I let grow on my sand bed the last several months.
