Just received an order from a trusted vendor, albeit my first order with them - 5 zoas and 2 stylos...
Fed Ex delivered yesterday evening a little after 5 pm, I immediately unboxed to dip.
All corals were packed individually and extremely well packed.
On unboxing everything was of course closed. I did notice the Inferno was like a limp noodle, very floppy. Also noticed a couple of white specks on the stem. I dipped all corals in Seachem reef dip for 20 minutes, squirted the surface and under the frag plugs to dislodge any hangers on, and cut off the plug stem.
After dipping I plopped everything in my pico reef for observation/quarantine before I put them in my main tank.
This morning everything is standing at attention, except the Inferno. It is upright and no longer floppy and a smaller polyp at the base is open but the main polyp is still closed up and the white specks are still there. Pics are below, ignore the goni in the back, she's coming back from the dead and still looking pretty rough lol.
What do you think? And should I reach out to the vendor?
