Amazing piece of equipment. Well thought out and extremely easy to setup. 25 minutes and you’re off and running. It’s as simple as attaching the test/waste tubes, reagents and plugging it in.

First test was spot on to what my Hannah was reading for both ALK and CA.

Couldn’t be happier - my work schedule is out of control. This thing will hopefully help tremendously in keeping the stability of my tank in check.

Saw no leakage in the reagent bottles - I think Neptune made some tweaks and hopefully they have that behind them.

Will update as this tests over the weekend.

Congrats on the new gear. :-)

Did you end up running the waste line into a drain? Or do you have a container?

Do not have any drains near it unfortunately so the waste line is running into a VOSS bottle for now. I’ll have a more permanent solution down the road.

Unit is resting in the top of my chiller. Actually fit well and this keeps it just above the level of the water in the sump. Was going to put a shelf in but thinking of just leaving it now.

I plan to run the waste line into my skimmate container.

Pictures of your sump trident location will be awesome [emoji1319] [emoji106][emoji225][emoji886]

Sits above the water line in the sump - prefer not to show much sump it’s a mess [emoji85]

Also ignore the 83.3 degrees on the chiller my tank sits at 79 +- .5 degrees that thing has never read correctly and is controlled by the apex. If anyone knows why I’d be forever grateful lol

Im loving mine too! Readings perfectly match Hanna checker.... like a dream lol

Have you calibrated I’m calibrating tomorrow I think which would give me over 72 hours

Probably not going to calibrate, given its reading the same as my (verified) Hanna checker. I will calibrate in a few months maybe?

Believe you can calibrate with each reagent set you use. Seen a number of posts saying calibrating didn’t really change the readings too much.

I believe you are referring to the "offset" option, where you can offset the trident's reading to match your test kit.

Calibration would be using their provided solution

Sweet, I have that exact chiller. My Trident should be at my house on Thursday. I had thought about placing it on the Chiller as I think it is the perfect place, but worried if the vibrations would bother the readings.... looks like you answered that for me. Thanks!

Believe it’s fine my readings have been consistent regardless of if the chiller was on

No each reagent set you purchase comes with calibration solutions - I believe the intent is to calibrate with reach no reagent solution set you hook up to the system
