Thanks! I'm using a Cannon Rebel XT, some of these fish are mine others are from fellow reefers. I actually don't like clowns because they are too aggressive, but I'm starting to like the fancy/designer ones.

Nice looking fish

Gracias!

A few more pics...

Atlantic Blue Tang (juvenile)

Blue Tang

Yellow Tang with Cleaner Goby

Target Mandarin Goby

It all depens on what kind of clowns you get. And yes once they start spawning and what not most get aggressive.

Wow just some random awesome fish!

You got some skills with that camera, your shots looks terrific.

Beautiful as always! Anyway you can share your settings on the Rebel XT? What mode, did you change F-stop, etc? Would love to know as I can't take a decent pic of a fish to save my life! lol

Thanks a lot Craig! It takes a lot of patience and a lot of pictures just to get 1 or 2 good pics. I did tried to shoot pics on RAW format, but could't handle all the settings; too complicated for me. I use the close-up mode if I need to use the flash, and the sports mode if I don't need the flash. My "trick" is to follow the fish with the lens on auto focus, usually they stop for a few seconds and let me take the pic. If you are using the flash, point the camera a few degrees down because sometimes the flash reflects on the glass and shows up on the pictures

An example of the flash showing in picture

After cropping it

after a few shots.... finally!!!

Hope that helps! Looks like we need to take Fish Photography 101 with Gary :hammer:
