I found these in my overflow yesterday while doing a water change. I just want to confirm they are limpets, and more importantly that limpets are ok to have.

Sure look like limpets to me!

Their teeth are among the hardest materials in nature, so maybe not acrylic-safe, and probably not powerhead-safe, but they'll chew away at your algae problems for ya!

Limpet. I have a tiny one. It finds a depression in the rock that it fits into and stays there until the lights go out. I've never seen it move but it's always in a different location.
