just wanted to say thanks to any one and everyone that has responded on any of my post or anyone else's post on here to give advice. It's appreciated by me and I'm sure everyone else that's setting up a tank. As of now I have a
65g
50lb lr
Live sand
3x500 power heads
Hob for up to 90g
Octopus 1000 hob (coming Tuesday)
5 snails and a peppermint shrimp(started with a very small Ccu until I get more algae)
1 snowflake clownfish

Tanks been up for 5-6 weeks

Like I said I just wanted to say thanks to all the helpful people on here

I can't speak for everyone, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I/we got assistance when we were new to the hobby, and that - at least for myself - I feel that I owe someone a hatful of peas.

Probably a lot of hats-ful of peas.

Additionally, these are beautiful, magnificent creatures, and I think just about everyone here wants to see them - whether in our own tanks or someone else's - having the best life possible.

Sounds like your own system is on its way to success!

That's pretty well said. My tank is just getting there, got my first pair of clowns this weekend. A black ice and a snowflake

I can't speak for everyone, but

I know for myself I like sharing if I know the answer.
Unless I feel the person is taking advantage.. (not so applicable on R2R but in particular pet stores which i feel charge above average) in that case I say it's a trade secret.
