Dream Coral is a Nightmare!!!
I've been putting off posting this thread for a while but now i feel like i need to get it off my chest and make sure what happened to me doesn't happen to anybody else.Long story short, another reefer and I went in on a big ticket purchase thru a Dream Coral who use to be a sponsor here but no longer is.Both me and the other guy have done business with Jeremy Arrey before and had a good relationship with him.Basically we paid $1300 for a high end polyp pack back in June.He said that the polyps would need a couple of months to heal and we agreed upon delivery in August.
So August comes around and we ask Jeremy for pics of the polyps so we can see exactly what we were going to be getting and he tells me that he's out of town visiting his father.He says he will get us pics as soon as he gets back.So time goes by and i ask him a few more times for pics and he just keeps beating around the bush.At one point he asked me if i just wanted a refund, i guess insisting that i didn't trust him or something so i was like fine whatever just ship us our stuff.He then tells me that there was a problem, apparently whoever was taking care of his tank stole one of the polyps and sold it so he can get the cash because he had a gambling problem.He then said he tracked down who that person sold the polyp to and that he knew them and he would arrange to get that polyp back.Supposedly he went to meet that guy and the guy tried to give him some other polyp....At this point i'm like are you serious dude?Then Jeremy tells me not to worry and that he had more of the specific polyp so i'm like alright.Next day, he's tells me he's going to ship out the stuff and that he's going to refund for that other polyp and i'm like ok well that makes no sense.You tell me you have more so why wouldn't you cut me another one .At this point i'm already fed up with all the BS and just wanted our stuff so i said fine just get me a tracking number as soon as you ship out.
Guess what happens next.....i don't hear from him for days and i get a text from his phone saying it was his wife and that Jeremy is in the ER.He supposedly got into a car accident while going to drop off my package...what are the odds?Another weeks goes by( all the while no communication from him whatsoever) then finally he calls and tells me what had happened and that the package was long gone.I guess the car was totaled and the package went with it.At this point i'm like just give us a refund, he says ok i will have my wife do it.I didn't recieve anything and he continues to ignore my texts for a few more days.I got so fed up with his lies and started threatening to post about what he was doing and tarnish his reputation.His response was, go ahead do it and see what comes, i'm just going to send out your stuff and don't plan on selling anymore so i don't care.After he said that i let a few days go by to see if he was actually going to keep his word.To my surprise he did , well somewhat at least, we got 2 of the 3 highend polyps that we paid for.All of which were obviously fresh cut and died the very next day.I then confronted him about it and the 3rd polyp and he tells us that they weren't fresh cut and that he sent the other polyp and have ignored us since.....
Moral of the story is, even though there are people here that come off as nice trustworthy people, unless you know them personally, you don't know them from the next guy.The world is full of crappy people and reefing communities are no exception.

then again I don't deal with anything even remotely close to that pricey so I don't worry about the other person being a wanker.
