Just when you think you have everything under control.....

....and you realize you forgot to shut off the fresh water feeding your salt water mixing container. Fortunately I had an auto shut off valve installed.......unfortunately as my AWC pulled salt water from the Brute daily, the can was refilled with fresh water, lowing my tank salinity from 1.026 to 1.024. I guess the positive is that my saltwater mixing station was always full .

Monitor, monitor, monitor... thank goodness you caught it before it got any lower. I can't tell you how many times I’ve accidentally left the RODI going and had it overflow. Lol

That almost would have been better lol. At least I would have caught the mistake quicker. I had no idea the saltwater Brute was being refilled as water was being taken out.
