Justin's 80 gallon rimless reef build

I like the clean modern rustic look before trim is added looks great
Thank you. Well it's not normal trim, its actually the same wood just wrapped around the base of the tank to cover this area.

Ok so it's been about a week and I have been super busy. But I did start cycling my rocks and some sand in a tote. Along with about 30 bio spheres that will go in my sump. I have also started dry fitting most of my plumbing.

As you can see it is going to be a little tight lol. I still have to build a small stand to put my refugium on to raise it up above the level of the sump, so it can overflow back into the filter sock area.

Let me know what you all think. Hopefully I'm headed in the right direction. Lol. If you cant already tell I'm planning on running the Herbie overflow method.

Progress looks good let's get it wet

Ok so I know it's been a week but i have had some progress. I got the plumbing done (except cutting the overflow pipes to the right level). Want to wait on cutting overflow pipes until i can get it wet. I can just unscrew overflow pipes out of the bulkheads and adjust as needed. Also got the doors on. So let me know what you all think.

I think it looks great what's the tank to the left in the sump

Oh and I forgot to mention. I got my RODI unit in and I'm waiting on it to finish cleaning enough water to fill the tank!!! Another day or so and I will be wet. Well the tank will lol.
