Is this a juvenile mantis shrimp or something even more sinister? Came off of a frag during a quick dip.

Amphipods are very common hitchhikers and actually a great algae eater, detritivore, and food for your fish! They do look like mantises…

Don’t worry about it! I thought they are mantises when I first found them too! It’s amazing how many cool critters are in our tank!
