Juvenile Emperor Angelfish reef safe?

We had tried a few as babies and eventually they all started nipping. Some took longer then others. Some it took a week, others took a month or two. It was sad because I would get attached and not want to let them go.
 
Agree juveniles are fine. Adults will shred through softies and lps, clams etc. depending on your tank size you may be fine with sps colonies at least until they hit max size. I’ve had emperors take a chunk off sps in front of my eyes and is one angel I would think twice about provide I had a large enough tank.
