Hi All,

Like to check with experts here, is there any way to positively identify a juvenile gold flake angel as compared to a hybrid juvenile?

Saw the following at our local LFS but they are unable to confirm if it was a pure goldflake or a hybrid. Apologies for the bad photo, fish is camera shy..

Looks like a goldflake, but i dont think you can claim zero hybrid for any animal though unless you have a dna test [emoji23]
related species breed together often in nature, every us ever wolf tested had some coyote dna.

Thanks for the information!
