I have kept 6 or 7 navarchus angels in reefs in the past, and all have been great with the usual corals. I recently added a small juvenile (~1.5") to pair with my existing, and the juvenile picks at sps polyps pretty regularly. For people who have kept them at this size, is this just a juvenile behavior that they grew out of? He's not causing any real damage, but I'm hoping this is a temporary behavior

If fed plenty they should grow out of it or nip very little. Also if your SPS are nice colonies (Established) they should be able to recover.
