How agressive are juvenile tangs? Specifically coexisting powder blue and powder brown tangs. I am moving next summer, across the country and unfortunately cant bring the fish. While I have a relatively small tang (90 gallons) I figure that 2 1-2 inch tangs will not outgrow it in 10 months. I am just worried about aggression between my two favorite tangs, powder blue and powder brown, as juveniles. Thoughts? I have plenty of rock for hiding, but lots if swimming room. I have very high flow for swimming against the current as well.

With acanthurus tangs, they are usually pretty docile when juveniles, its when they hit sexual maturity that the fighting with eachother can start becoming an issue.

Sorry- Confused why you are buying fish if you are moving and not bringing them?

How old/long are they when they hit sexual maturity?

Most Acanthurus tangs can reach maturity in about 1.5 yrs if diet/environment/stress levels are ideal.

Thank you. I have an opportunity to purchase a 3-3.5 inch powder blue. Approximately how old do you think this tang is?
