Please help with my micro bubbles coming from the lid in my skimmer! I've tried putting corse sponges in it, cleaning it, turning it down. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
Thanks

I think we need a little more info. Can you post a pic? Is it draining directly into the tank, or into a sump?

I've tried placing filter floss in skimmer outputs before, but am unfamiliar with your exact one. Here's a Sunday bump for ya.

Thank you, I've managed to stop the bubbles with filter floss but now it's skimming clear water rather than a dark green I got before?

It sounds like it needs adjusting. When your collecting clear/tea colored skimmate, the bubbles aren't having enough contact time with the water. Adjust the output so the water level in the neck of the skimmer is lower. I hope this helps.

Is the out put the adjustment for the water at the bottom of the skimmer or the air valve? Or has the skimmer been fitted to low? Thanks for your help

After researching your skimmer a little, it appears they recommend your outflow be open completely and you adjust the level by the air control valve. I found these troubleshooting tips.....
