Well, the 125g 6ft rags2riches is in the history books after a 2 year grind on my last BT.

With hopes and plans to move west to Colorado in the spring, i decided it was time for a new journey. The goal is to have a custom built, rr, just add water scenario when I settle in the new location. Due to not knowing where the reef will finally rest, or what my new residence will have for a layout... I went small, ish.

6 months to April and an empty house to manage this agenda schedule.

Welcome to the long haul. Penny pinching, doodling, giggles, and spam to ensue.

Been trucking for a little over a month with rocks. The reef is currently planned to be sps dominant. But not completely sticks.

Originally i thought a custom bonsai from dry reef rock. But then i stumbled upon 2 crazy deals locally since then.

Full bleach cure process. Same as brs did. That will be followed by 5 months of seeding and culturing in a brute, power head, heater, etc.
Should be ready by the time i get to the mountains. I havent decided salt yet either. We shall see.

I am off work, they shut the entire plant down tuesday to test the entire site. Waiting on results. No symptoms yet. Been through this once already.

So i did all the housework yesterday, because today we are getting dirty. :)

I am using AquaForest Stone Fix. Portland Sand. I first match the pieces up to their future home, and use the cement to mark the edges of the mend line. Then a respectable thick layer along the two meeting edges. Squeeze together. And pull apart. Let dry. This creates a matching contour to do your final fit cure. Which u now see above for the montipora plate colony.

Hopefully ill have a finished scape by next week and i can begin the curing process.

Very nice selection of rocks and good looking aquascape.
