So my buddy fragged some Eagle Eyes awhile back, put them on a plug with another zoa, which I think are Green Bay Packers. They were pretty tiny when I got them, but look what they have turned into. Pretty cool eh?

Did you notice at any point in time if that zoa had it's skit in it's mouth? Sometimes this will happen with zoas and the color of the skirt gets transferred* to the oral disc.
*By transferred I mean that I don't know what the term is for transferring Zooxanthellae
I've seen that on at least 1-2 polyps on each of my eagle eye colonies...
I've had mine going on 4 months in three different tanks and they have never morphed back to eagle eyes.being a morph do they hold there colors long term?
The secret is too keep them in mid/ low light. They retain there rainbow.
Mine are in extremely high light, 250watt MH, 2 x T5HOs, 1 x Reefbrite (25 gallon tank). To top that off, they are the top of the tank.
I would say about 75% of what was an eagle eye colony flipped to Kscopes. Even better I fragged a few and the babies are also Kscopes.
