Kalk Dosing

Been dosing past 2 days Started at 7.7 went down when first dosing to 5.3 Went up last night after increase in dosage to 10.7 Increase was based on calculator from this site which called for a 6200ml to bring up from the 5.3 Cut back on dosage to 30ml per day and am now back down to 7.7 Would like to be at 9.0

The concentration of your salt to water

Of which will affect your actual numbers for your desired parameters of fresh mixed saltwater. Some reef salt mixes are higher or lower than others

It appears that you are ghost dosing calcium hydroxide just for the pH increase. Is that correct?

There are other ways to increase pH

30 mL per day in a 60 gallon tank is adding less than 0.02 dKH per day.

While I used kalkwasser for 20 years, it is not well suited to try to make rapid changes.

I’d slow way down in making changes in a coral free tank.

7.7 dKH is perfectly fine and I’d dose nothing for a couple of weeks and monitor alk every few days.

Then we can develop a plan if you want it higher.
