Is there any reason why everyone uses unsalted water for dosing kalk other than convenience of ato water as a source?

Can I use a dosing pump to supply my kalk stirrer with tank water?

No, you cannot. The reason is that mixing calcium hydroxide with seawater will result in massive precipitation of calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide due to the very high alkalinity and pH.
