Hi all,
I would like to use Kalk as a way to replenish Alk and Calc in my new tank, which I have never used before. I do not want to put it in my ATO since evaporation will be different from time to time and would like to have a little more control over how much I am dosing. So, I am debating using a dosing pump and adjusting that according. So my question is, is there a formula to calculate how much too add to my tank?
Using my old system as an example, I had about 14 gallons of total water volume and used about 1 dkh of alk daily. How much of a fully diluted kalk solution would I add over the course of the day to compensate?
Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I am having trouble finding an answer.
Thanks,
Eric
