I have a, what looks to be an ato reservoir with the strangest dims - 5x7x24h for about 3.6 gallons. Been thinking of what else I can use it for and thought of replacing my 3 chamber dosing container with it. That way I won't have to keep swapping the dosing line to each chamber as they empty. I also have an apex monitoring ph so if somehow the doser goes wack it won't dump the whole thing.
Is this ok or am I looking for trouble?

I dosed kalkwasser from a 144 gallon reservoir, so size does not concern me.

pH can be a useful dose limiter, but a better control than pH is using a pump that cannot deliver much faster than the evaporation rate.

This is actually saturated kalk and not mixed into my ATO. I guess if you have it in that large of a container then 3 gal of saturated kalk should be fine too.
