Kalk into filter roller

I’m going to be setting up kalk run off my DOS soon. I’m trying to decide where to have the output go to. My return chamber has an ATO sensor and the apex probes so I believe it’s a bad area. My reefmat has a nice big opening and turbulence inside. Is it a bad idea to have kalk output into the filter roller chamber? If so how are others dosing kalk and not fouling sensors/probes?

I don't know - that's an interesting idea. I dose near my emergency overflow pipe (I have a Sicce Xstream circulating water in that section of the sump).

My concern would be alot of local preciptiation of calcium carbonate on the mat, and potentially clogging it.
