kalk question

I have a question about kalk dripping. For some reason, I remembered reading that it's best to drip kalk when lights are off - perhaps due to ph? well, I've done it this way for so long I'm not even sure that's true. Can I drip kalk anytime? I usually drip a gallon of kalk with vinegar added once a day to every other day. Advice welcomed!

I believe it is suggested that way, to prevent high PH. I dose mine at night with a BRS dosing pump when my APEX tells me my PH is starting to lower

Yes, you can drip 24/7, or just at night when the pH is lowest. Both work fine.

I dose limewater in my ATO, which runs 24/7, whenever needed based on evaporation.
