Kalk question

I want to take my kalk stirrer off of my ATO to get a more consistent dose of kalk. Now my dose changes with evaporation. I'd like to put it on a doser. Can I run saltwater through my kalk reactor? Or will that ruin the ph boosting effects of the limewater?

Definitely not. Limewater (kalkwasser) can only be used with fresh water. You get massive precipitation inside of it of magnesium hydroxide and calcium/magneisum carbonate.

Using a doser, however, is a fine plan.
